Episode 1 Script:

Act 1:

Scene 1:

[narration] Davis is in a dream. this dream he has been having for months. Little does he know what his dreams are telling him. At the end of his dream he comes across what seems to be a demon swallowing him after that ends up waking up. [narration ends]

{Davis's Bedroom}

Davis: Uagh!

[while heavily breathing he looks around the room and sighs in relief and places his hand on his forehead.]

Davis: Just another dream. [while slowly breathing down to normal he gets up out of his bed and walks to his back porch.]

[narration] It's a sunny morning as Davis walks out of his bedroom and onto his porch. His porch is on the third level of his apartment. As he looks on to the horizon he is interrupted by his neighbor from the second level of her porch. [narration ends]

Ms. Narasaki: Morning Davis.

[narration] Davis ends up looking down to see her. She ends up waving at him. [narration ends]

Davis: Oh good morning Ms. Narasaki.

Ms. Narasaki: The sun seems to be up early this morning.

Davis: ............Oh yeah I guess so. [sigh] Sorry Ms. Narasaki my mind's been on other things lately.

Ms. Narasaki: [with a concerned look on her face] You had that dream again didn't you?

Davis: Seems like it.

Ms. Narasaki: Well I wouldn't worry about it, besides you should get ready, you start your junior year today.

Davis: Oh no your right!

+Davis: I'm going to be late!!!

+Ms. Narasaki: [Laughing]

Scene 2:

[narration] Davis rushes though his house gets his stuff ready and drives to school. He arrives at school and is greeted by his friends. [narration ends]

{Outside of the school building}

Zenko: Hey Davis where've you been.

Urou: We've been trying to contact you all summer.

Davis: Sorry I've been taking care of some things lately.

{School classroom}

[narration] Before class starts, Davis has been starring at his hand which has been trembling all day. [narration ends]

Davis: My right hand has been hurting all day. Urgh! Damn, why is it hurting so much.

[narration] By then he is nudged on the arm by one of his friends. [narration ends]

Urou: Hey Davis.

Davis: [looks up] Huh? What?

Zenko: Check out the new girl. [points to her]

Davis: Oh...... [looks at her]

[narration] Davis pauses for a brief moment only to see her walk into the classroom with her friends. [narration ends]

Davis: .....yeah.

[narration] Davis pauses again as her friends take their seats. [narration ends]

Davis: She's beautiful.

[narration] There is a dramatic pause between the two of them as she looks right at him, stares at him for a few seconds, and smiles at him before the class bell rings. [narration ends]

Uuay: Yuna come sit with us.

[narration] She turns and walks away. [narration ends]

Davis: Yuna what a beautiful name.

[narration] Yuna sits down right by her friends and turns her head toward Davis. [narration ends]

Yuna: Uuay who is that?

Uuay: Who?

Yuna: That boy in the back row.

Uuay: Oh. That's Davis.

Yuna: Davis that's a nice name.

Uuay: He's usually not this quiet. I wonder what's bugging him.

[narration] The erupting conversations between the class mates was slowly brought to an eerie silence when the door opened and the teacher entered the classroom. [narration ends]

Ms. Iroka: Morning class.

Class: Good morning.

Ms. Iroka: My name is Ms. Iroka and I will be teaching your chemistry class for the year. First things first in this class we work on labs you will be partnered with and only the person right next to you, in which I've taken the time to handpick your names and place them on this chart.

Class: WHAT???!!!!!!!

[narration] Ms. Iroka shouts the names off the list and blabbering on ending up with.... [narration ends]

Ms. Iroka: .......Middle desk Davis Marako and Yuna Níaku.

Davis: Huh? [surprised]

[narration] Both Davis and Yuna walk up to the middle desk and sit next to each other. [narration ends]

Davis: Hi.....um....I'm...uh...

Yuna: Davis I know.

[narration] They both start looking around but not at each other while both of them are blushing with Davis looking back at Yuna while trying to start a conversation with her. [narration ends]

Davis: Oh.....well.....then...I...

[narration] While Davis was trying to have a conversation with Yuna Urou and Zenko were snickering in humor. [narration ends]

Zenko: Dude look at Davis he's choking out. [snickering]

Urou: Well at least he's trying that's unlike him though.

Uuay: That's a first.

Davis: *frustration* Urgh I can't believe this I don't want to look like a idiot but I don't want to act like a jerk.

Yuna: he doesn't want to look like a idiot and doesn't want to act like a jerk either..............that is so sweet.

Davis: Listen...I.... *[sudden pain in the arm]* Urgh my arm its burning. Damn, why now? Ms. Iroka! *[in pain]*

Ms. Iroka: What is it?

Davis: I know it's early *[still in pain]* but can I please use the restroom?

Ms. Iroka: But class just started 10 minutes ago.

Davis: I know *[while in pain]* but its an emergency.

Ms. Iroka: Alright just don't take long.

[narration] Davis kindly walks out of the room and runs to the bathroom. While running he hears voices and the hallway grows darker. When he makes it to the bathroom he turns on the sink to cold and closes the drain so the water reaches the top. When it does he dunks his arm in it thinking that will cool his arm from burning. When he does it the water turned a dark red and pulls out his hand only to notice that the water turned into..... [narration ends]

Davis: Blood? *fear* What the hell is going on?

Janitor: [knocks on the door] Hello anybody in there? [opens it]

Davis: Thank God you're here look there's blood in the sink!!!!!!

Janitor: *[looks in the sink but looks confused]* What blood?

Davis: The blood that's in the..... [looks at the sink which is empty] ...but, but that's impossible there was blood right in here!!! I saw it with my own eyes!!!

Janitor: Hey kid you okay?

[narration] Words couldn't describe the expression on his face as he walked out of the bathroom and back to the classroom and to his desk. [narration ends]

Ms. Iroka: Well that was really quick for an emergency, anyway I handed out a syllabus on your desk.

Zenko: Davis are you all right, you look like you just seen a ghost......Davis?

Scene 1:

[narration] School bell rings as the students make there way off campus. Davis walks out off the entrance with his head down thinking. [narration ends]

Davis: Was I the only one who saw the blood in the sink. It had to have been in there. [raises his right arm and stares at it] There's no way I could've imagined it.

Yuna: Davis!

Davis: *low tone* Oh high Yuna.

Yuna: I've been looking for you all day. I've meaning to ask you something.

Davis: Oh what's that?

Yuna: {flashback} In Chemistry class today you acted really weird when you left the classroom and when you came back you barely talked for the rest of the day. {flashback ends} What exactly happened?

Davis: Well…[sigh]….It's nothing really. I can't tell her what happened. There's no way she'd believe me.

Yuna: Davis you can tell me anything now were friends right?

Davis: Friends? That means…..[throbbing with excitement]….Yeah I Still Got It!!!!!!!! Say Yuna this is pretty sudden but tonight's the First School Dance and….I was wondering……..

Riku: Yuna.

Yuna: Oh hey Riku [as he walks up to her] this is Davis the one I was talking to you about. Davis this is Riku he's my….

Davis: Oh! Forgive me I didn't know he was…

Riku: I'm her brother if that's what you were thinking.

Davis: Oh…..sorry that wasn't my impression.

Riku: Yuna we're already late lets go.

Yuna: Alright lets go [walks off with him and waves goodbye] bye Davis!

[narration] As Yuna walks off Davis turns back for a second until Yuna shouts his name again as he turns back to her. [narration ends]

Yuna: Davis! [runs back to him and holds him by the side] The answer is YES. [kisses him on the cheek *Davis blushes*] Pick me up at 8:00.

[narration] As Yuna runs off she yells out the name of her address as she waves goodbye to him. [narration ends]

Yuna: 18567 West Shinro Avenue!!! See you at 8!

[narration] As she runs off Davis is still in shock and changes to a celebrating expression. [narration ends]

Davis: YES!!! SHE SAID YES!!!! WOOOOOO!!!!!!! I'M STILL THE KING!!!!!!!!

[narration] Davis drives off the school campus in his car as he is driving he is singing along with his radio on. [narration ends]

Scene 2:

{Yuna and Riku's House}

[narration] As Davis makes his way to the door to pick up Yuna he rings the doorbell and is greeted by what seems to be Yuna's grandfather. [narration ends]

?????: Ah you must be Davis Yuna's upstairs getting ready why don't you come in…..

Yuna: Davis you're here this is my grandpa don't mind him…….[stares shockingly at the limo] A Limousine!!!!! [drags Davis out to the limo] I can't believe it I just love limousines!!!

?????: You kids have fun now.

[narration] As the limo drives off to the dance inside Yuna is fascinated by the thought that she is in a limo. [narration ends]

Yuna: I can't believe I'm in an actual limo! I've always imagined being in a limo on my first date. With the TV, radio, phone and everything! Gosh your parents must be really rich to afford a limo.

[narration] Soon after Yuna said that last sentence Davis expression immediately turned into sadness. Yuna turns and finds Davis holding it in as her expression turns into concern. [narration ends]

Yuna: Oh Davis…your parents…I didn't know…

Davis: No it's not that its not my real parents it's my foster parents years ago I was found on there doorstep and they took me in when I turned 16 last year they bought me my own apartment to stay in for the rest of my sophomore year. One month later they were killed in a fire. No one could figure out the cause it just happened.

Yuna: That's so sad, and you have lived in that apartment ever since?

Davis: Normally I would be transferred to a different family by the government but no one would take me in at that point the government just gave up and inherit all of my step parents money. They decided since I was mature enough to live on my apartment for one month that they decided that I'd live on my own.

Yuna: And all alone?

Davis: Well not technically the government checks in on me every two months and I my spending limit is around $30,000 dollars per month.

Yuna: And what about your parents?

Davis: Don't know I nobody could find them not even the countries best agents could track them. I never got to know them.

[narration] Davis at that point had begun to act macho so that he could change the subject and that Yuna would stop feeling sorry for him. [narration ends]

Davis: But as you can see this bad boy still going strong and still rich as can be, money is not a problem.

Yuna: *dull* I'm sure it isn't.

Scene 3:

[narration] Davis and Yuna arrive at the school dance before they enter the building Davis begins to see a shadowy object at the far side of the building but ignores it and enters the building with Yuna. [narration ends]

{School Lower Gym a.k.a. dance floor}

[narration] As Yuna and Davis dance Davis ends up seeing flashes of the shadowy figure he saw earlier up until Riku ends up popping up and talking to the both of them. [narration ends]

Riku: Well I can see you two are having a wonderful time.

Davis: Yeah…Uh…Yuna I'm going to…Uh…get some punch.

[narration] As Davis walks off Riku quietly talks to Yuna in suspicion. [narration ends]

Yuna: Riku what are you really doing here?

Riku: I just got a message from sensei.

Yuna: You mean there's a…

Riku: Yes

Yuna: In the school building? [looks around]

Riku: Yeah [shift his eyes around quickly] So keep your eyes open.

[narration] As Riku walks off Davis finally reaches the punch bowl pours a cup and grabs it with his right arm. As soon as he picks up the cup and drinks it his right arm drops it and starts trembling again and this time it's a lot worse. [narration ends]

Davis: My arm [in excruciating pain] no, not here, not now.

[narration] At that moment there was an eerie pause between Davis as and the crowd if everything stopped as he looked though them he saw the shadowy figure and could see that it was wearing a hooded cloak. It seemed to noticed him and walked out of the gym and into the hallway. Davis then runs after it as if he was the only one who saw it and makes his way though the crowd. [narration ends]

Davis: Excuse me, pardon me, excuse me.

[narration] Riku ends up spotting him leave though the hallway doors in suspicion. [narration ends]

Riku: Now were could he be going to?..........
